High quality Antique copper plated beads - real metal and yet lightweight

Made in the USA, these are high quality beads - not like those made in the Far East. Based on a high melting point, high resolution  Acrylic shaped bead, they are dipped in molten copper (not painted) and left to cool, forming a thick layer that handles just like solid copper. The beads are then given an antique finish by applying a hard black wax finish. 

The end result is a high quality bead that is just like solid copper - but much lighter. Perfect for chunky designs, or for mixing with semi-precious beads when you need to keep the overall weight of your jewellery down.
