Baroque pearls have seen a recent resurgence in popularity,

These beads are made of glass, just like their normal seed beads counterparts,
and are coated in a dappled pearl lustre-style coating. Each Miyuki Baroque’s bead's
finish is unique, with delicately textured wrinkles and bumps.
The edges of every bead hole have been cleaned up by hand at
Miyuki, to ensure there are no jagged or sharp edges that might cause an
abrasion on your thread.
The finish on the beads may be slightly uneven and organic,
but the beads beneath still have the high quality and consistency in size and
shape that sets Miyuki beads
apart.
